Songle - Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Songle! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Songle mobile application ("App") and any services provided therein ("Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

  • Service: The Songle mobile application and any services provided through the app.

  • User: Any individual who accesses or uses the Service.

  • Content: All materials, including text, images, and music previews, available through the Service.

  • User Content: Content created and shared by Users within the Service.

  • Music Previews: Short segments of songs provided for streaming within the Service.

3. User Obligations

  • No Misuse: Users must not misuse the Service by attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the functionality of the Service.

4. Account Registration

  • Users may register for an account using Apple's sign-in method. Providing a user name and email is optional.

  • Account Management: Users can manage and delete their accounts from within the app.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: All content created by Songle, including but not limited to the app's design, graphics, proprietary software, and user interface, is developed and maintained by Songle. Users must respect the rights of Songle and other users to the content and functionality provided within the app.

  • License: Songle grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the app in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. This license is for personal, non-commercial use only.

  • Restrictions: Users are not permitted to:

    • ​Modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products, or services obtained from the app.

    • Use any automated systems or software to extract data from the app for commercial use (screen scraping, data mining, etc.).

  • Music Previews: The app includes music previews sourced from Apple Music. These previews are provided to users under the terms and conditions set forth by Apple Music. Songle does not claim ownership of these previews and uses them in compliance with Apple's guidelines for the benefit of the app users.

7. Usage Rules

  • Permitted Use: Users may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

  • Prohibited Activities: Users must not copy, distribute, or modify the Service, or use it for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

8. Music Licensing and Usage

Music Previews: Music previews provided within the Service are for streaming only and cannot be downloaded or shared outside the app.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • No Warranties: The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Songle does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service.

  • Limitation of Liability: Songle is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

10. Termination

  • Termination by User: Users may terminate their account at any time.

  • Termination by Songle: Songle may terminate or suspend a user’s account for violations of these Terms or inactivity.

11. Changes to Terms

  • Notification: Songle may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of any significant changes.

  • Acceptance: Continued use of the Service after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
